Most of the franchise is still the same. The only thing that elevates it to full Rated R status is when “#$@%* Dudes Be #$@%* Sleepin” comes on and you realize the song is 43 seconds of Pearl swearing at the top of her lungs before the recording equipment shorts out.
I really wish the discourse around Persona 4 could revolve around literally anything besides whether or not Kanji is gay (he's bi if anything) and whether or not Naoto is trans (she canonically isn't).

How about Joseph treating him a father of the church and just starts confessing to him. Pucci who just wants to murk him finds he can't because you know. Shenanigans. He tries to lure Joe out to an abandoned area, Joe instead takes this as Pucci shoeing him abandoned church. Where Joe then goes all Bob the builder.
Pucci meanwhile is just like: 'why am I not just killing this guy?' Joe brings him over stuff like sandwiches and tea and then Pucci becomes one of the friends of Joe. Joe later reveals that he knew all along that Pucci wanted to murk him and just wanted to do something nice for him. Since Joeseph is the old school guy who follows the code of bushido.
Honestly, I can see that. Joseph may be one of the more underhanded Jojos, really only being outdone by Giorno in that regard, but he’s also one of the nicer Jojos, only being outdone by Johnathan.
Not everything needs to be a fight.
(Side note - Pucci would absolutely know about Caesar in this kind of story and would actually feel sorry for Joseph, if only out of the fact that he’s been carrying that pain for sixty years at that point.)
